OCIA at Oviedo Farmers Market

Oviedo Citizen’s in Action was blessed to be one of August’s numerous booths at the Lawton House, in support of the Oviedo Historical Society. From food, Irish dancers, farm fresh produce and plants, organic soaps and cleaners, political candidate staff members, and Legos and puzzles for the kids, to several not-for profit organizations, there seemed to be a booth for everyone there. No one that we saw walked away empty handed. Those that visited our booth with school age children were treated to OCIA string bags with school supplies and some encouraging words for the upcoming school year. We are thankful to our many volunteers throughout the day that manned our booth, and those that helped us prepare, to help our community better understand all that our great organization does.
